There are so many fun things happening in the fiber world this week! Here’s a selection of links for your reading pleasure while I’ve over there ——->
blocking.all.the.things.

First, the Black Panther Wrap pattern is now available as a Ravelry download. It’s such a great story. Thanks to Ruth Carter, the incredible costume designer from the movie, knitters now have the pattern to make their own version of the scarf. It’s straight from the guy who knit it, a machine knitter. Reverse engineering movie knits has always been a thing. I never imagined the actual costumer to get involved, as if her fabulous costumes weren’t enough?? It’s definitely in my queue! I want one!
Next up, a new crafting show from Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman. It’s a craft competition show set to debut in July. It’s so perfect it almost seems like it’s from The Onion. I checked the calendar, it’s not April Fool’s Day? It must be real!?! It’s from NBC and I love it already.

Yarn bombed toilet, anyone? Someone covered a toilet in the Guggenheim Museum in gold crochet. It’s pretty funny but seriously…I would not put my face that close to any toilet in NYC. Whoever it was, was a brave soul.
One for the nerds — Artificial Intelligence generated knitting patterns! It’s sequence knitting as done by monkeys on crack! It’s pretty fun! You can check out the patterns on Ravelry. They’re credited to designer ‘SkyKnit’! Love it!
And now, I’ve run out of excuses! Time to block!
