This gallery is ‘how is how it started’. Check out the progress that came next in the 2019 gallery and the 2020 gallery. There’s also a WIP gallery for 2021. I gift a lot of what I make and of course, I keep a lot but there’s still always pieces looking their own forever homes. You can find those in my Etsy shop here: www.FogKnits.etsy.com
2018
Here’s this year’s holiday cross stitches! They’re all in 3″ hoops so they can be used as ornaments easily!
This year, I’ve been experimenting with a lot of different fonts. I love a good font. Often, I start with text, a line from a song or something and go from there, choosing fonts & colors as I go. I’ve just starting using dyed aida, recently. It’s been fun to play with and a great excuse to let fonts stand for themselves.
2017
I started cross stitching again in 2017 after a hiatus of decades. I started with a couple kits but by the end of the year, I was itching to design my own stuff. I love messing around with graph paper!
My Wall of Cross Stitch has evolved a lot over time!
