Why pack for Rhinebeck when I can crochet instead!

This guy was fun to make, even if he was fiddly.  Faces can be persnickety.  This one turned out okay.  Better than expected even! 

And he used tiny bits of scrap yarn! It’s hard to even call it stash busting because it used so little. 

It’s a free pattern, with some tutorial photos.
