WIP Wednesday – No Mods

After last week and the hat a day pace, I’m ready for some completely mindless knitting. Hello Hitchhiker!!

A self striping sock yarn means I’m not even doing any modifications! No beads, no eyelets, no seed stitch, nothing. Just a little bit of garter stitch and some stripes. Ahhhhh. It’s like a gentle, soothing bubble bath. Except I don’t have to get wet. Perfect!

It is perfect indeed. The yarn is stunning, and compliments the shawl pattern perfectly. Wow! Great choice. Happy knitting. :)

  a good portion of project success is owed to proper yarn/pattern pairings! I *almost* made socks with this! Glad I didn’t it…it’s too pretty to be stuffed in a shoe!
